About
Our training for third-party auditors
IATF France offers a comprehensive and professional qualification programme for third-party auditors in the IATF scheme, combining theoretical and practical learning. The training is delivered by external provider EUROSYMBIOSE, ensuring a high level of expertise and consistency.
The ADP platform (Auditor Development Process) is also used to deliver online educational content, supplemented with live courses. The effectiveness of this training can be demonstrated by successfully completing the related exams.
Application process
1. Qualification criteria
1. Qualification criteria
- IEC 17021-1 + accreditation requirements.
- 6 ISO 9001 audits (including 3 as team leader).
- Competencies in FMEA, MSA, SPC.
- 4 years of experience (including 2 years in quality) within the last 15 years.
- Observation of 1 complete IATF 16949 audit (excluding special audits).

- The CB evaluates the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

- The CB sends the complete file with objective evidence.

- The candidate completes the registration and pays the initial fees.

- To begin between 12 and 24 months after Phase 1 (“full pass”).
- After successful completion:
- Assignment of a new IATF 16949 auditor number.
- Authorization to audit for the certification body.
- Mandatory internal witness audit within 6 months.
